4、fects.Speci?cally,themodelpredictsthattheleveloftheimporter’stariffresultingfromnegotiationsshouldbenegativelyrelatedtotheproductoftwoterms:exporterconcentration,asmea-suredbytheHer?ndahl-Hirschmanindex(sumofsquaredexportshares),andtheimporter’smarketpow
5、er,asmeasuredbytheinverseelasticityofexportatShanghaiUniversityofFinanceandEconomicsonOctober17,2014supply,onaproduct-by-productbasis.Wetestthishypothesisusingdataontariffs,trade,andproductionacrossmorethan30WTOcountriesand?ndstrongsupport.Weestimatethat
