5、hyhistoryseveraltimes,mainlyabouthistoryofmedievalandofmodernphilosophy,andhetaughttheformermoretimes.QuitemanyofarticlesandmonographspublishedbyHuShiwithinthisperiod,arerelatedtohisstudyonthemedievalphilosophyhistory.Forexample,HuShi,inhisoralautobiographyathisoldage,s

6、aid,“I,althoughnotpublishingasequeltotheOutlineoftheChinesePhilosophyHistoryinthelastover30years,stillwroteseveralmonographs,someofwhichcameoutintheformofseparateedition,suchasmystudyonHuainanzi(refertoBooksofHuainanKing《淮南王書(shū)》publishedin1931)whichcontainedmorethan40,000
