3、antsareabletoaccessisolatedcloudservicesbyrentingtheapplications(e.g.,[2]–[4]).Thatis,afairpolicyshouldbeablesharedresourcesindatacenters.UnlikeresourcessuchasCPUtoallocatebandwidthaccordingtothenetworkrequirementandmemory,datacenternetwork,whichreliesontraditionalofapplica
4、tions.Currentcloudapplicationshavetwoprimarytransport-layerprotocols,suffersunfairnessduetoalackofVM-requirementsfordatacenternetworks,whichcanbeusedtolevelnetworkisolation.Inthispaper,weproposeFalloc,anewformthebasisofdesigninganallocationpolicy:minimumbandwidthallocationp
5、rotocol,towardsVM-basedfairnessacrossbandwidthguaranteeandproportionalbandwidthshare.thedatacenterwithtwomainobjectives:(i)guaranteebandwidthforVMsbasedontheirbasebandwidthrequirements,and(ii)Minimumbandwidthguaranteecanprovidestrongisola-shareresidualbandwidthinproportiont
6、oweightsofVMs.TotionamongVMsortenants,sinceitensuresalowerbounddesignFalloc,wemodelthedatacenterbandwidthallocationasaofbandwidthallocationindependentofthecommunicationbargaininggameandproposeadistributedalgorithmtoachievetheasymmetricNashbargainingsolution(NBS).Weapplythep
7、atternsofotherVMs.Withtheabilityofguaranteeingband-theorytopracticebyimplementingFallocwithOpenFlowinex-widthforeachVM,providerscannegotiateSLAsonnetworkperimentsunderdiversedscenarios,whichshowsthatFalloccanperformancewiththetenants,whichmaybeattractivetoachievefairnessbya
8、daptingtodifferentnetworkrequirementsoftenantsdeployingnetworkintensiveapplication
