3、omodelthedispersionandcombustionofflammableliquids,gasesanddustcloudsinopenandboundedgeometries.ThefirstversionofFLACS,releasedin1986,wasdevelopedbyCMI(ChristianMichelsenResearchInstitute).CMIcontinuedthedevelopmentofFLACSuntil1992atwhichtimeitsdevelopment

4、waspassedtoCMR(ChristianMichelsenResearch).GexConwasestablishedin1998tomanagetheconsultancyactivitiesofCMRandin2000ittookfullresponsibilityforthedevelopmentofFLACS.Atpresentthecompanyemploysaround35people,manyofwhomareinvolvedinthedevelopmentofthesoftware.
