3、andeffectiveparticipationinsocietyonanprogresses,2andmaybeconsideredtoequalbasiswithothers”(Article1)haveadisabilitywhensocial,economic,politicalorotherbarriershindertheirfullTheConventiondoesnotexplicitlyrefertoandeffectiveparticipationinsocietyonanHIVorAIDSinthedefinitionofdisability.However,

6、eactions,definedthisunderstandingofdisability.SomecountrieshaveaccordedprotectiontopeoplelivingwithinconsultationwithabroadrangeofHIVundernationaldisabilitylegislation.OtherstakeholdersincludingpeoplelivingwithcountrieshaveadoptedantidiscriminationlawsHIVandpersonswithdisabilities,areinthateith
